What have the Victorians ever done for us?

The 19th Century was the Golden Age for the canal system in Britain, with a great deal of the nation’s goods and commodities being transported across the country on horse-drawn or steam powered barges.

A unique and iconic form of signwriting and artwork adorned many of the boats used to transport goods in the 18th and 19th centuries, and thanks to it’s continued use on pleasure boats is still instantly recognisable today.
