PROJECT REDSTAR: SITE DEVELOPMENT

Continuing with the development of the site in Dreamweaver, I created a menu bar and category headers.  We recently learned in class how to create anchored links on a page, so I have decided to have all of my products on one page and each category (Chutneys, Jams, Sauces etc) will be accessed on the page via anchored links.

I created a menu bar, and category title headers, and the necessary anchor links.

I wanted to have the navigation bar stick to the top of the page as user scrolls down, so researched ‘sticky header jquery’ on google and found a jquery that will do this in the article http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/css-sticky-position/.  This means that the navigation will always be visible at the top of the page so I will not need any to have any navigation on the left or right and can than therefore keep the page symmetrical.
